WAV metadata can live in RIFF INFO lists, Broadcast Wave fields, iXML production records and application chunks. KillMetadata removes supported descriptive chunks while keeping the audio data and required format information.

WHY THE ENGINE MATTERS
Standard RIFF/WAVE is handled chunk by chunk
Every RIFF chunk length and padding byte is bounded before the writer selects metadata chunks for removal. Audio data and fmt chunks remain byte-for-byte.
RF64 is recognized but not rewritten by this release. An unknown carrier is reported as partial instead of being treated as clean.

Are my files uploaded?
No. The cleaner runs in your browser, has no upload endpoint, and only enables the file picker after its processor assets are available locally.
Is the original file changed?
No. KillMetadata reads the original and creates a separately named cleaned copy. It never overwrites the source file.
Does cleaning change WAV audio samples?
No. Supported metadata chunks are removed around the audio data; the sample bytes are copied.
Is RF64 supported?
RF64 may be recognized, but this build does not safely rewrite it and will stop instead of offering a cleaned download.
